Monica graduated from Michigan State University in 2005 with a Bachelors Degree in English.  She later received her teaching certificate with a major in English and a master’s degree in Education.  She has taught English for nine years to both middle school and high school students.  She currently teaches English to 10-12th graders in Racine, WI.

Monica has taken several meditation courses through the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program which was created by Jon Kabat-Zinn. She uses Christian Mindfulness as a way to embrace peace from the Prince of Peace, Jesus! This helps her become more peaceFUL, joyFUL, mindFUL, and soulFUL. She is passionate about teaching Christian Mindfulness to others to help them gain peace and discover their soul’s purpose through intentional living.
